Our Pack
At Cub Scout Pack 755, we are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where kids can learn, grow, and have fun. Our pack is open to boys and girls in grades K-5 from the Amerman Elementary School and surrounding area.
As a Cub Scout, your child will have the chance to participate in a wide range of exciting activities, such as camping, hiking, fishing, crafts, sports, and community service projects. They will also have the opportunity to earn badges and awards that recognize their achievements and help them build confidence, character, and leadership skills.
Pack Traditions
Pack 755 is a very active troop and there are several events that are held every year. The den meetings and the pack events are the backbone of the Cub Scouting program. They provide many excellent opportunities to experience the outdoors, learn new skills, serve the community, and to have lots and lots of fun!
Listed below are just a few of the events we hold every year. We also try to take one larger trip every fall. There are plenty of amazing over-night field trips within a few hours drive. We have camped our in museums, zoos, and even a WWII Submarine. We try to find experiences and build memories that your child will treasure for years to come.
Spring/Fall Camp-out
Near the beginning and end of every school year, we will head out to a local campground as a pack. There is no better way to connect with new and old friends than by the campfire while roast s'mores.
Scouting For Food
Together with Gleaners, Pack 755 collects food donations from around the community. Younger scouts drop off bags and older scouts pick them up.
Pinewood Derby
A Cub Scout favorite. Help your child construct their very own derby car and race it against the pack. Cubs can win prizes for speed and for style!
Winter Blast!
Just when things are coldest in late January, we head up to D-Bar-A Scout Ranch! Cubs learn how to build a campfire in our yearly Fire-Bowl competition.
Fishing Derby
When the whether warms up in May, it is time to catch some fish! You will be amazed at how many fish you can catch off the docks in Maybury. You child might even win the prize for ugliest fish.
Spring/Fall Cleanup
Pack 755 coordinates with the Amerman PTA every fall and spring to help clean the yards outside the school. Kids can help with clean with friends, and with so many helpers we get it done really fast!
Carnival!
Our Bear Den (3rd grade) put together games of luck and skill. Cubs earn tokens which can be turned in for prizes. Or if they have had enough, there is always the bounce-house for blowing off steam.
Blue & Gold Banquet
Each year we gather to celebrate the accomplishments of our Arrow-of-Light scouts. It is always bittersweet as our friends cross the bridge an move on to the next steps of their journey.
